Characteristics

The Scrimsley terror is a massively plump purple beast that pounces on the party with big bites and needle sharp fangs. The terror can cause massive damage by making the ground tremor, hurting all heroes.

The Scrimsley Terror is a boss in Dragon Quest VI. As his namesake implies, he appears in Scrimsley after they stay at the inn there.

He is revealed to be Amos. However, the Hero must not tell the truth about Amos being a monster, or otherwise he will not join the party. If they keep it a secret, he will ask them to get the Seeds of reason in Hazy Heights where he will join the party.
