The Tectonic Plate (formerly known as the Armor of Gaia/Gaia Armor) is a suit of armor that appears in Dragon Quest II. It is a sturdy suit of armor infused with the power of the earth.
Dragon Quest II
The tectonic plate has a defence bonus of +47 (+35 in the NES version). It can only be equipped by the Prince of Midenhall. The armor can be found in Dirkandor in the weapons & armor shop behind the counter and requires the Golden Key to access.

Etymology
- The tectonic plate is named after the pieces of the Earth's crust and uppermost mantle that together are referred to as the lithosphere.
