Appearing exclusively in the Nintendo 3DS version, Bolt of Blight is the deathmove of the Bright Sparks special monster team, which consists of Damon, Othello, and Sir Bodless. Much like Lightning, it inflicts 320-400 Bang-type elemental damage to all enemies.
Dragon Quest Tact
Bolt of Blight can be learned by Phantom swordsman at level 32 and costs 30 MP to use. It inflicts moderate Zap-type martial damage to all enemies in a radius of 1 around the user and has a chance of reducing their martial resistance for 3 turns.
