Phoenix

For the Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride enemy previously localized as phoenix, see Firebird.

The Phoenix is a breed of radiant raptors that were once worshiped by man as deities, but any relation to the true Everbird is just speculation. True to their namesake, these birds are able to rise from the ashes of near-defeat with their mastery of the Multiheal and Omniheal spells, as well as revive allies with Kazing.
