The Cherry slime is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest Monsters 2: Iru and Luca's Marvelous Mysterious Key. It is a vivid red variant of the normal Slime.
Characteristics
Cherry slimes are nearly identical to an ordinary Slime, with their only notable difference being their red colouration instead of the normal blue.

A cherry slime by the name of Brother appears in the Version 6.0 quest "Heroes of Heaven". He undergoes slimification with seven other types of slimes in order to form the Holy king slime.

Cherry slime is a C-rank monster of the Slime family that could be acquired through a special promotion with McDonald's Japan.
- In the SP version of the game, cherry slimes can be encountered normally in the Sky World.
Dragon Quest Tact
Cherry slime appears as a C-rank monster of the Slime family as part of the limited "Cherry Blossom Gourmet Travelog" event. It can be scouted in Chapter 1, Episode 3 of the event quests and it can be fully awakened by repeating the quest at any difficulty. The cherry slime could participate in the Crème caraslime's Battle Road as a party member.
