Dragon slime
File:Slimewing.gif The dragon slime (originally SlimeWing / Slime Wing due to display constraints) is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in Dragon Quest VII, it is a stronger, blue version of the drake slime.
Characteristics
Like drake slimes, dragon slimes are slimes that carry a few traits of dragons, namely a crest, wings, and a tail. They are blue in color.
They essentially possess the same traits as drake slimes, having some draconic qualities contained in a slime form, but of a superior strength, such as being able to breathe harsher fire than drake slimes can.

The first appearance of the dragon slime (then SlimeWing), appearing with the drake slime's placement into the mainstream title. They can be found near Gorges.
