The Demon Dragon Blade is a weapon from Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai.
Appearances
Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai
It is the orichalcum sword of the dragon knights, with a very long single-edged blade and a dragon-shaped hilt. A self-repairing weapon, the sword was created by the gods themselves solely for the use of the dragon knights, and one of the very few weapons that can withstand their Draconic Aura. Normally passed down from one Dragon Knight to the next, it spends most of the story in Baran's possession. He can even wield it in his Dragonoid form. After his death, in a manner not unlike Dai's own sword, the Demon Dragon Blade accepts Dai as its new master.
Despite being made of the strongest metal in the world, it was capable of being broken by the Dark Armour Blade while the latter was channeling Dai's Zap Strash, however, both swords ended up breaking from the clash. As such, it had to be repaired, which took some time.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light
The Demon Dragon Blade appears as an SS-rank sword. It has an attack power of 40 (maximum 50) and a speed of 5. When enhanced to +7 or higher, it increases the attack power of dragon-type monsters equipped with it by 15%, and at +10, it increases by 18% instead. During the 4th collaboration held in November 2020, it was changed so that the weight becomes 0 when Baran equips it, but the weight does not become 0 when Dai (both Dragon Knight and Apostle of Avan) equips it.
Dragon Quest Walk
The Demon Dragon Blade appears in the "True Demon Dragon Sword Equipment Lottery" along with armor that allows the player to look the same as Baran. This weapon can be enhanced to a maximum attack power of 169 normally, and up to 221 with 4 limit breaks. At level 25, it acquires "Fighting Gene," which increases the damage of the next attack's lightning element and puts you in a "Focus" state. At level 28, it acquires "Doruora ," and at level 30, it acquires "Gigabreak. " The instant skill is "Instant Focus," which puts you in a "Focus" state at the start of battle.
Dragon Quest of the Stars
The Demon Dragon Blade appears as a 5-Star weapon that can be acquired from the gacha. It starts with +89 ATK at Lv1, but upgrades to +129 ATK at Lv2, and +172 ATK at Lv3. It also gives the user +15 M.ATK when equipped. The sword deals more damage against creatures from the dragon family. Its main skill, [Secret Sword Gigabreak], is one of the few S-rank skill, and its 450% power lightning-attribute attack is equivalent to the maximum power level of other skills. Furthermore, when fully enhanced, it reaches 650%, making it the most powerful lightning-type skill.
The Demon Dragon Blade☆ is the weapon's alchemized form. It starts with +94 ATK at Lv1, but upgrades to +134 ATK at Lv2, and +177 ATK at Lv3. It now gives the user +25 M.ATK when equipped. It keeps its anti-dragon attribute from its base form. While the sword keeps its base form's main skill, it adds Dragon Formation Attack as an additional main skill. The latter is a 500% power fire-element attack with a 75% chance to lower the opponent's defense by 20%.
Dragon Quest Tact
The Demon Dragon Blade appears as an S-rank sword that is acquired from the Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai Medal Exchange - Dragon Knight Baran!. It grants 55 HP and 25 ATK, with stat boosts to Doruora, Gigabreak, and either a massive Attack Power boost (Rainbow roll) or several stat boosts (Gold roll).

The Demon Dragon Blade appears as 4-Star sword with the lightning weapon attribute, possessing the characteristics of "increasing lightning attribute damage for a certain period of time when a skill hits" and "increasing guard gauge recovery speed for a short time when using an ultimate skill." Obtaining it through gacha will grant Baran the skill "Gigabreak," but it can also be equipped by Dai, Hyunckel, and Avan.
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
The Demon Dragon Blade appears as a Super Trust Master Reward from Dragon Knight Baran. It grants +211 ATK, +237 MAG, increases damage against dragons, humans, and demons by 75% each, increases Baran's static ATK and MAG by 250, increases accuracy by +50%, and has a damage range of 125% - 175%.
Puzzle & Dragons
The Demon Dragon Blade appears as a 9-Rarity, Dark-Attribute, Dragon-Type Assist evo for Baran. Its Active Skill recovers 50% of HP for 3 turns, reduces damage taken for 1 turn, and increases the player's attack power by 10 times.
