Heart Breaker is a recurring ability in the franchise. It may prevent an enemy acting their next turn approximately 30% of the time.

Yangus can use Heart Breaker as a club technique after allocating 19 skill points into the associated skill. Once he has allocated 71 points, it is replaced by the more powerful Mind Breaker.
Dragon Quest IX
This ability is learned with 3 skill points invested into Hammer skill and costs 2 MP to use.
