Upon arrival, Torneko discovers that the bridge to Endor is out and that the architect commissioned to fix the bridge hasn't arrived yet. After a brief encounter with some facetious foxes in Shinnock village, Torneko delivers the builder and the bridge is repaired. King Shamus is overjoyed, having desired to invade the more prosperous nation for some time now. Torneko is taken aside by Prince Regan, who states that he cannot allow his father's mad ambitions to come to fruition and requests that the merchant deliver a warning of the invasion to his lover, Princess Veronica 4 of Endor.

The King is dissuaded when he finds out his son, Regan, wishes to marry Veronica, the Princess of Endor. Realizing that he can use this position to his advantage with much less danger than with overt force, he decides to act on his ambitions more subtly, and war is averted.
Torneko obliges and travels to Endor and presents the warning to King. Hit with the double-whammy of learning that his only daughter is in a long-distance relationship and that his nation is about to be invaded, the King thinks quickly and proposes to settle the matter with a royal marriage--a classic political ploy used by monarchs. He writes up the proposition in a Royal Scroll and has Torneko deliver it back to King Shamus. King Shamus is dissuaded when he finds out his son wishes to marry the Princess of Endor. Realizing that he can use this position to his advantage with much less danger than with overt force, he decides to act on his ambitions more subtly, and war is averted. Regan and Veronica hail Torneko as a hero, and the King of Endor gives him official permission to open his own shop within his kingdom's walls.

The armour shop is out of business in Chapter 3, due to lack of armour, which an old man in the castle will buy off Torneko for a significant mark up. The shop is opened by Chapter 5 due to receiving supplies from Endor.

Trivia
*Hardie will scoff at the thought of Ballymoral invading Endor successfully if he is in the party when Torneko returns with the royal scroll, stating that there is no way such a small kingdom could ever threaten the land of his birth.
