Cristo
Cristo (or Kiryl in the DS remake) is first a member of Princess Alena's party, who subsequently joins the hero's party in Dragon Warrior IV. He is a chancellor of Santeem, and first appears in Chapter 2, Princess Alena's Adventure, when both he and Brey join Alena when they discover she has escaped the castle to head out on a journey to prove her strength.
Cristo mostly learns healing and support spells, but he also learns a few spells which can instantly slay one or multiple enemies. He can also equip many more weapons and armor than most of the other characters in Dragon Warrior IV, with the hero and Ragnar as the only exception.
Before Alena will join the hero's party, an ill Cristo must be healed with the Padequia Root. Once Cristo recovers, Alena and Cristo join with Brey again and become part of the hero's party.
