Hero (Dragon Quest IX)

The hero of Dragon Quest IX is a male or female who was originally an angel. The hero's mission was to collect star auras to power the world tree. The angels are trying to get into God's Land, and powering the World Tree is the only way. After giving the tree five star auras, a disaster occurs which sends the hero to Earth. When the hero wakes up, he/she is a human.
A unique feature in the game is that you design the hero. You choose its gender, height, shade of skin, hair style, hair color, eyes, eye color, and name. You also design your party members, so it is possible to make all party members look the same.
