A seaslime is an enemy from Dragon Quest III. It looks like a slime with a shellmet permanently stuck on its head. Though not as common as their land-lubbing cousins, the Seaslimes are infamous for boasting high defence and elemental resistances, as well as turning tail when battles look bleak...not unlike the Metal slime family.

The Seaslime is a recurring MFamilies in the DQSeries, first introduced in Dragon Quest III.
In the Nintendo DS remake of VI, a Seaslime named Shelley can join the heroes as a slime buddy.
