Note: the monster known as Wrecktor initially appeared in Dragon Quest II with the localization "Mace Master" (NES) and "Magus" (GBC), where they were a stronger palette swap of the "Evil Clown" (Whackolyte) from the same game. However, when this monster (Mace Master/Magus/Wrecktor) reappeared in Dragon Quest VII, the translators of the Playstation version mistakenly localized their name as "EvilClown", when it should have been "Mace Master" or "Magus" using the naming conventions of the time.
