:The ones that I can think of are mostly from III and VII. I've actually never played the NES version of III or IV, at least not extensively. A lot of the ones I can think of have been noted on here, just little things here and there like whips being a single-target weapon in the NES versions of III and IV. Most of my frame of reference for III is playing the Game Boy Color version. There's probably some other differences that I can think of from the PS1 version of VII. It's been a little while since I've had a chance to play it.
