In the ''Reimagined'' remake of the game, the ritual fails like in the past two versions, but a malevolent voice speaks and possesses the Torban of Truth. Kiefer tells Florin to drop the Torban, but Florin is unwilling to and turns into a monster, forcing the party and Lala to fight him to free him from his transformation. They succeed in doing so, prompting Florin to apologize for his actions and Lala to reveal that she never loved him. Later at the Roamer encampment, the hero spots Kiefer speaking with Florin about the events that transpired, revealing his mark and saying that it appeared after he was engage to Lala. Kiefer berates him and the rest of the Roamers for not considering Lala's feelings, to which Florin says he is correct about. Before he leaves in self-exile, Florin asks Kiefer to protect Lala. | |||
