The Queen warmly welcome the Prince of Midenhall when he arrives and compliments him on how much the youth has grown since the last she saw him, but suspects something is amiss from his tense expression. Upon being informed that the [[Children of Hargon]] cult has destroyed the kingdom of [[Moonbrooke], the Queen agrees with her husband and insists the Prince of Midenhall take her son along to perform reconnaissance safely, speaking highly of his studiousness in practicing sword and spell while downplaying his absent-mindedness. When she learns the lad has wandered to the [[Wellspring of the Hero]] to perform an ablution, she humbly asks the Prince of Midenhall to track down her son and return him to the castle. She gives the duo a missive that will allow them passage to the southern continent where Moonbrooke lay through the undersea tunnel of [[Gwaelin's Gate]]. | The Queen warmly welcome the Prince of Midenhall when he arrives and compliments him on how much the youth has grown since the last she saw him, but suspects something is amiss from his tense expression. When princes of Midenhall and Cannock return from the ruins of Moonbrooke along with the Princess, the Queen goes to the girl and consoles her by bringing her palm to her face. She silently grieves as the Princess explains that her father was killed in the raid on the castle, and gives her a passing explanation of the [[five sigils]] when the Princess mentions that Hargon's forces are fervently searching for them. The Queen asks if the Princess is to venture to Midenhall for shelter, but the Prince of Midenhall interjects and states the three have decided to slay the mad cultist to bring peace back to the world. She question's her son's commitment to the crusade, warning him of the grave peril it will entail, but upon seeing his steely resolve in spite of that danger she proudly declare the blood of Erdrick does flow in his veins. | |||
When learning the Prince of Cannock was afflicted with a deadly curse by the [[brute bat]] in [[Beran]], the Queen is stricken with fear for her son's life but keeps her head, and is the one to propose his two cousins use a [[Yggdrasil leaf]] to void the curse. She is overjoyed to see him well after the cure is administered and, when the King becomes furious with his daughter for leaving the castle without permission and endangering herself to retrieve the holy plant, the Queen explains that her husband is simply overwrought with worry. She grants her daughter permission to join the quest by telling her son to keep an eye on her during their travels.
