Etymology[edit]
- Clangoustine is a pun on the words clang and langoustine, one of several names for Norway shrimp.
Trivia[edit]
- The reference to the monster's weight is reinforced in the Japanese language, where the name is a dual pun on heavy metal and shrimp.
