Edge of Death is a skill that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact. It is one of Erik's signature abilities, sending a noxious blade at an enemy that has a chance to envenomate and paralyse them.

Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
Edge of Death can be learned by Erik at level 34 and costs 46 MP to use. It has a range of up to three squares away from him, inflicts 250% potency physical damage to a single enemy, and can inflict both envenomation and paralysis. Upgrading the skill increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to use. Erik can also learn the perk Death Follow-Up with 30 awakening points, which allows him to follow up with Edge of Death when any ally, including himself, paralyses, poisons, or envenomates an enemy with an ability within a 1 to 3-space range.
