The Foul anchor is a recurrent monster in the Dragon Quest series and it was introduced in Dragon Quest VIII.

Their body consists in a rusted blue bronze anchor, with two yellow eyes in one of the sides of it, and a rusted chain that makes this monster to attack the player from the depths of the ocean.
