The iron fan is a recurring fan in the Dragon Quest series. It is an unconventional weapon not to be sneered at due to its strength.
Appearances
Dragon Quest IV
The iron fan has an attack bonus of +22. It can only be equipped by Maya.
Dragon Quest VIII
The iron fan has an attack bonus of +47. It can only be equipped by Red and she joins the party with it equipped. It can also be purchased in Orkutsk for 1,600 gold and sold for 800 gold. The iron fan only appears in the 3DS version of the game.
