The demonsbane is a sword introduced in the 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII. It is a katana that deals more damage to monsters of the Demon family.
Details
The demonsbane has an attack bonus of +116, inflicts 1.3 times damage on Demons, and can only be equipped by Angelo. It is obtained from Cameron Obscura after completing the Boss Troll Stamp Card. The demonsbane has replaced the Shamshir of light as Angelo's most powerful sword unique to him.
