A Boe is an enemy introduced in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. It is part of a much bigger enemy called a Mumboh-jumboe.

In-Game Description	A left-handed monster that swings a single sword with both hands. The youngest of the four brothers, it has an affinity for cheese.
