They worryingly resemble [[Material family|naval mines]], causing most adventurers to run at the first sight of them. Their bodies consist of a rotten round iron ball covered in sharp stabbing spikes with an evil one-eyed face and a mouth with sharp fangs, as well as a long clanking chain that dangles below their bodies. '''Spiny mines''' attack by swinging their spiked bodies in a circle, smashing into enemies and protruding their sharp spines into their flesh. They're also prone to simply self-destructing at will, damaging every single enemy in a massive manic explosion.
