When the player first comes to Coffinwell the inhabitants are being afflicted by a disease. The player, at the request of the Mayor, accompanies [[Dr. Phlegming]]; a local archaeologist to the nearby [[Quarantomb]] to find the source of the disease. In the [[Quarantomb]] the player finds that a Monster, the [[Ragin' Contagion]], is the cause. After the player has defeated it, Coffinwell is no longer affected. However Dr. Phlegming's wife, Catharrina died before the Contagion was destroyed. After her funeral, Catarrhina ghost will appear, and ask the player if they can help Dr. Phlegming's sadness by showing him all the people that he saved. | |||
