Etymology[edit]
- Oberon is a folklore character found in much of Western Europe, being depicted as the king of the fair folk. Depending on the region, this can range from dwarves, elves, and faeries. He is a central character in William Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream, where he is the husband of Titania.
