Gold Rush refers to two very different, finance-focused abilities in the series.

Appearances

Dragon Quest VIII

An upgrade of Penny Pincher, Gold Rush is learned by Yangus after allocating 93 skill points into the club skill. The blow hits for 25% more damage and swipes an extra 20% of the target's dosh.

Dragon Quest IX

The Luminary version of Gold Rush rains a deluge of gold coins upon all enemies for 530~580 soil-type damage. It can be used by any character that has the "'Luminary's Lore'" (quest #120) item in their inventory, and costs 1,000 gold each time it is used.
