The Claw breaker is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest VII.
Characteristics[edit]
Claw breakers are grinning green malicious monsters that grind their grim claws against the ground the sharpen them before using them to slice at enemies and attackers. These unusual monsters have the appearance of anthropomorphic reptiles or mermen with tall blue fins running down the top of their heads to their backs, a jaw full of sharp fangs, and wicked yellow eyes. Aside from the razor-sharp long blue claws on their hands, they can breathe out ice-cold breath at their foes. On the field, claw breakers run at high speed with their arms outstretched behind them.
