The Empowered shield is a shield that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest IX. It is a more durable version of the power shield that has been strengthened through Alchemy.
Characteristics[edit]
The shield has a near-identical design to the power shield, being made of golden metal with a bronze section in the middle and a silver section at the center. The center has a blue gemstone in the very middle and features designs of birds in flight. Compared to the power shield, the bronze section in the middle has been polished to a high sheen and there are grooves etched on the outer section of the shield.
