Monster Mia is a skill first appearing in the Nintendo 3DS remake of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.
Appearances[edit]
Morrie will learn the skill after allocating 100 points into his Passion skilltree. It costs 15 MP to perform, and will summon one of three monsters to aid in battle. The possible summons are:
- Mazin: attacks one enemy for strike/stone damage based on Morrie's level x 5.
- Great sabrecat pride: summons a group of sabrecats to attack up to eight times. Damage is Morrie's level x 0.75 and carries the army attribute.
- Slime: calls forth a Healslime, a Cureslime, and a King Cureslime to work their slippery sorcery and completely heal the party.
Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
Monster Mia can be learned by Hero Eight through his Character Builder and costs 107 MP to use. It has a range of only 1 square away from him and summons either Potbelly, Jewelbag, or Big Al into battle depending on who is selected. Although it can only be used once per battle. Upgrading the skill reduces the amount of MP it costs to use.
