The ascetic robe is a recurring robe in the Dragon Quest series, and serves as the iconic attire for male Priests in the ninth entry in the series.
Description[edit]
Reminiscent of the robes worn by Buddhist monks, the robe is a light green wrap with a darker green sash around the shoulders that droops down to the wearer's knees, bearing the emblem of the Celestrians. Across the upper shoulders and neck is a red sash that extends to the wearer's navel. When upgrades through the alchemy pot, the robe takes on an darker hue, and the sleeve cuffs and larger sash now bear triangular patterns.
