The ''Plateau of Rhone'' is a general region in south central [[Expanded Alefgard]]. It is the final region visited in [[Dragon Quest II]].

The plateau is only accessible via the [[Cave to Rhone]]. The entire region is surrounded by impassable mountains. It is also the only region of Dragon Quest II to feature snow.

The plateau of Rhone is home to [[Hargon's Castle]] and the [[Shrine of Rhone]]. These 2 locations are the final places visited in Dragon Quest II. As a result, the plateau is home to the strongest outerworld monsters in Dragon Quest II.
