I agree, but not entirely sure. In ''[[Dragon Quest VIII]]'' I think it was, it is revealed that Empyrea and Ramia are one and the same. However, it is a more evolved version or something. :She's the same bird, just with a different look. VIII is big on past game refferences, which is why Ragnar and Torneko show up at Morrie's, so it's not much of a stretch at all. As for her appearance changing, it could be that it's just a plain old redesign to better hide the surprise, or she just changed plumage as she grew older and more powerful. Split?
