The Cobra Claw is a recurring weapon in the Dragon Quest franchise. It can lethally poison its target, with the success of the infliction depending on the monster's resistance.
Appearances
Dragon Quest IV
The cobra claw has an attack bonus of +80. It can only be wielded by Alena and Maya and appears in the remakes only.
Dragon Quest V
The cobra claw has an attack bonus of +90. It can only be wielded by Debora and several monster companions. It is found in Crocodilopolis or sometimes through fighting either a Doom slugger or a Gloom slugger.
Dragon Quest VI
The cobra claw has an attack bonus of +90 and style bonus of +29. It can be wielded by Amos, Goober, Healie, Spot, Kingsley, Curie, Shelley and Mercury. They can be found sometimes after fighting Aggrosculptures and Merkings, and sold for 26,250 gold coins.
