The Poseidon is a recurrent monster in the Monsters subseries and was introduced in Dragon Quest Monsters 2.
Characteristics
The poseidon is a giant acuatic monster with the name of the greek marine god and a oriental acuatic beast appearance. Its body is like a mix of fusing a monstruous frog with a sea dragon, it has aqua green skin and its body is covered with aqua blue scales. Its head is full of protuberances and has lips and a pair of eyebrows made of aqua blue skin. Poseidon wears two purple and white samurai shoulder pads at each arm, is covering its chest with a cloth that has a blue, purple and white ancient pattern on it and has on his neck a golden pearl necklace.
