Waterweed mould is an item that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest VIII. It is an ice-cold piece of mould that is used in Alchemy for cheesemaking.

It can also be dropped by Kissers, Mushroom mages, Frogmen, Smackers, Dark sea-divas, Killer croakers, Mohawkers, Khalamari kids, King kelps, Pigmalions, and Abyss divers.
