The sandstorm spear is a spear with a tip wrought from sand, and is capable of generating a dust storm to blind a group of enemies.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit]
The sandstorm spear has an Attack bonus of +67 and is only available by mixing a Partisan with Saint's ashes through alchemy.
It can be sold for 5,300 gold coins and can be used for the following:
- Creating the Ring of truth with a Gold ring through alchemy.
- Give to Dodgy Dave in Pickham to obtain the Happy hat.
