The magical skirt has a Defence bonus of +45 and reduces all magical damage (save for Zap) by 33.3%. It can only be worn by a female Hero, Alena, Maya, and Meena. It can be purchased at the Pioneer Town once it upgrades to a castle, at the casino for 1000 coins. In the Nintendo DS and smartphone versions, the magical skirt can also be obtained as a prize from the Medal King for turning in 25 mini medals. It can be sold for 7,350 gold.
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit]
The magical skirt has a Defence bonus of +45, a Style bonus of +35, and reduces damage from non-Zap spells by 20. It can only be worn by Milly and Ashlynn. The skirt can be purchased for 6,700 gold in Sorceria and sold for 5,025 gold. One can be found in a treasure chest in the Seabed Shrine. They can also be dropped by wraithwands.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit]

The magical skirt once again has a Defence bonus of +45, a Style bonus of +35, and reduces damage taken from non-Zap spells by 20. It can be purchased for 8,700 gold at Wetlock, Providence, Hubble, and Aeolus Vale and sold for 4,350 gold. It can only be worn by Maribel and Aishe. Magical skirts can also be won as prizes from the Lucky Panel at the Casino.
- In the Nintendo 3DS version, it can be dropped by Dark slimes at a rate of 1/64.
Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King[edit]
