The Mercury's bandana, also known as the scarf or AGL scarf, is a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series. It typically increases the wearer's agility. In later appearances, it has become a piece of headwear rather than an accessory.

The Mercury's bandana has an agility bonus of +30. It also changes the wearer's Personality to Bat Out of Hell.
Dragon Quest IV
The Mercury's bandana is an accessory that increases agility by 15.
Dragon Quest VII
The Mercury's bandana has an agility bonus of +30 and a style bonus of +10. It can be equipped by all characters. They are sold at Wilted Heart in the past for 970 gold and can be sold for 485 gold. Mercury's bandanas can also be won as prizes from the Lucky Panel at the Casino.
Dragon Quest VIII
The Mercury's bandana is a piece of headwear that increases defence by 23 and agility by 15. It can only be worn by the Hero.
