A splatypunk is an enemy in Dragon Quest IV. It is a variant of the more common, but weaker platypunk enemy.

Field Notes	Big-beaked beasts who gob blobs of sticky liquid at their enemies. Nobody's quite sure where it comes from. They look a lot like their platypunk cousins, but can be identified by their tasteful tawny colour scheme.
