Critical Claim is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series. It was first introduced as a Coup de Grâce for the Warrior in Dragon Quest IX. The skill also the user to get guaranteed Critical Hits.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies

Critical Claim is a Coup de Grâce for Warriors in Dragon Quest IX. The user swings a sword of light down on the opponent, dealing a guaranteed Critical Hit, making it very useful for hunting members of the Metal Slime family.

Dragon Quest X

Critical Claim returns as a special move for the Warrior. Instead of a sword of light, Critical Claim is now a powerful punch. Once again, the move is a guaranteed Critical Hit.

The move has undergone several changes in the game's updates.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
