Dragon Warrior III's jewel of the east. Jipang is very reminiscent of ancient Japan in it's architecture. Their are no weapon shops, and no item shops here as this town does not get many visitors due to it's isolation on an island. Jipang is ruled by Himiko, who is very weary of foreigners, and for some reason will not defend his town against the Orochi that resides in a nearby cave. Not many people in the town are happy with Himiko's rule but are so scared of him that they do nothing. This is also the location of the Purple Orb.
