The GigaMute is both a monster and a boss in the game Dragon Quest VII.
Regular Enemy
The GigaMute can be found in the Rexwood region in Disc 2, the Orph region in Disc 2, the Deja region in Disc 2, and the Probina region in Disc 2. The GigaMute has a rare chance of dropping a GigaMute Heart, allowing one party member to become a GigaMute when the heart is taken to the Temple of Dharma.
Boss
The GigaMute Boss can be quite tough for those who have been slacking in leveling up their party. It can attack twice in one turn and unleash devastating ice breath attacks. Woolguard is essential in lessening the damage as well as armor that protects against cold.
