The Mudraker is a semi-recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.
Description
The Mudraker is a messy mud elemental monster that erupts from the ground to slap at enemies with their newly formed mashing arms. They're capable of casting Kabuff in order to harden their muddy clay skin and prevent it from cracking mid-battle. Their freaky faces seem like they're constantly melting and dripping, with massive mouths that they sometimes spend turns laughing madly with and odd eyes that they'll just spend battle time staring. Much like the Muddy hand, Mudrakers have sometimes been classified as members of the Undead family and as such, take extra damage from skills such as Undead Undoer. Their names are a combination of the words "mud", which their bodies are composed of, and "muckraker".
