Have a Ball is a recurring ability in the Dragon Quest series. Enemies are barrages by a series of juggled balls six to eight times at 30% damage per hit.

Red learns a variant of the skill called Blade Cascade, which uses knives in place of balls. As daggers are sharper than spheres, the blows hit for 40% damage instead of 30% per strike. Learning the skill requires Red to completely max out her knife skillset, and it costs 6 MP to use.

Dragon Quest IX

This ability is learned with 82 skill points allocated into their Litheness skill, and costs 8 MP to use. One of the preferred methods for handling metal slimes.
