Strathbaile (Izmit in the NES version) is a town in Dragon Quest IV. It is located in the north of Burland. It has one of the few schools in the Dragon Quest series.
Synopsis
In Chapter 1, Ragnar is called upon to track down Strathbaile's missing children (including the innkeeper's son), who have all disappeared under unknown circumstances. In Chapter 5, the town's inhabitants witness Rose's psychic cries for help every night in the form of dreams; the party can experience them as well by staying at the local inn.
In the remakes, an additional dream sequence is viewable in Chapter 6; it is a quick summary of Psaro and Rose's love affair, followed by a vague hint direct the player to proceed to Gottside for the aftergame.
