A Live lava

Elemental Family (Japanese Katakana: エレメント Romanji: Eremento ) refers to the monsters Dragon Quest series that are formed mainly by elements: Fire, Water, Wind or Earth. Usually they have elemental attacks and haunt areas similar to their elemental type. (E.g. Live lava are found around volcanoes.) In some games, members of this family are included within the Material family due to lack of representation.
