The Bones of Baramos is a monster that was first introduced in Dragon Quest III. A literal shell of his former self, Baramos' rotten corpse is reanimated by Zoma's sorcery to delay the party's advance.
Characteristics
The design of Bones of Baramos is merely a different color scheme of Skelegon. Although their designs differ in two principal reasons: the color of the bones and the color of the eyes. The color of the bones is a deep shade of purple (since purple is the color of death in Japan) and the color of the pupils of the eye is white, instead of blue.
However, in Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland 3D and in Iru and Luca’s Marvelous Mysterious Key his design is completely different: instead of being the skeleton of Baramos is actually a zombie, reflection the monster's Japanese name. This is proven by the fact that some flesh is still held into the bones and because this zombie still wears the cape that Baramos wore in life. The skin shown is pale green, really zombie-like, the bones are still purple but the eyes are shiny and blue. The cape's colors are more darker and the cape itself has been torn in different sections

Trivia
- Funnily enough, the design of this monster show a pair of wings made of bones, however Baramos is not shown to have wings. However this could be countered easily because Baramos wears a long tunic that could easily cover the said wings.
