The Mandrake monarch, originally known as Makainite, is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest Series.

Description

The Mandrake monarch is a palette swap of the Mandrake major. It is a purple-skinned, bipedal dragon with yellow scales. In battle, it wields a sword and shield and is capable of casting Kasap.
