He has a large pair of wings, a long tail, and a pair of black horns on his head. Setesh wields a cutlass with a gold guard and handle and a round silver shield with a gold border. Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit]

When the people of Al-Balad began to construct The Likeness in honor of the god, the Earth Spirit, it drew the attention of nearby monsters, led by Setesh. They ordered the people to change their monolith as a tribute to the Demon King himself instead. When construction finished for the Likeness of the Great Evil, a pair of Dark Rubies were set into the eye sockets of the Demon King's face, placing a curse of darkness on the land of Al-Balad. The rubies from the Likeness also provide Setesh with even greater power. They also demanded a yearly sacrifice of a young maiden from the people, but Queen Fertiti offered herself instead.

Eventually Hadeed and the party make their way to the Likeness after reviving the great Serpent and crossing the river Nihil. Hadid attempts to take on Setesh by himself, but is defeated. The party then arrives at the scene and is able to defeat him and with the help of Queen Fertiti herself, remove the pair of Dark Rubies from the Likeness.
