King Korol's Catechism (イブールのほん, ibūru no hon "Book/Scripture of Evool") is an item in Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride.

Appearance

King Korol's Catechism is an item that can be bought in all versions of the game from a woman in town for 3000 gold coins later in the game. This book serves no purpose however except as foreshadowing of who one of the villains is. It can, however, be sold.

In the Super Famicom version of V it can be sold for 3000G (the same as it costs to buy it), but in the remakes it can be sold for 4000 gold coins, for a profit of 1000 gold coins.

Content

'First Commandment Those who disobey the doctrine of the Order will not be granted access to the White King's Paradise.

'Second Commandment Those who have faith in King Korol will in turn have the love of the Goddess.'[1]
